Sundsgårdsakademin and Emelie Hill Dittmer are proud to present Write for life – the Healing Power of Your Pen, taking place 25–26 October 2025.
Set by the Öresund coast, this two-day event brings together leading voices in the field of writing for wellbeing. Participants will explore how writing can support healing, clarity, and personal growth.
We are honoured to welcome:
Mark Matousek (USA), speaker, teacher and award-winning author of several memoirs and Writing To Awaken: A Journey of Truth, Transformation, and Self-Discovery, a widely acclaimed guide to uncovering the “untold story.” His work explores writing as a tool for transformation and inner awareness.
Jackee Holder (UK), leadership coach, author, and creative writing pioneer. With over 30 years’ experience, Jackee’s nature-inspired approach blends eco-psychology, journaling, and reflective prompts, as seen in her writing maps Writing With Fabulous Trees and Rewilding The Page.
Emelie Hill Dittmer, initiator of the conference, is a writing pedagogue and founder of Skrivterapeuterna, Sweden’s first year-long training in therapeutic writing. Her work, rooted in personal and intergenerational healing, combines trauma-sensitive methods with reflective practice. She is the author of Skriv för att läka and Den skrivterapeutiska verktygslådan.
